Church Services during the COVID-19 Pandemic

As the spread of the coronavirus continues, people are naturally anxious about the risk in mixing with others who may possibly pass on the infection.  As a Church we take these concerns very seriously.

In view of the rising COVID-19 infection rates locally and the increased risk of transmission due to the new variant, we have taken the decision to cease meeting in church for public worship and to move all our meetings including worship online via Zoom.

If you would like to join us please ask for the Meeting ID and Passcode, email:

Because the Law requires us to specify which on Sundays there will not be public worship within the church building, rather than be faced with the potentially demoralising need to extend this period, we have dispensed with requirement to meet until the beginning of April.

This means that, as things stand, our first service back in Church will be Sunday 4th April, Easter Day. If, however, we feel it is safe to resume meeting together in church before then the resolution and permission do not prevent us from doing so. The PCC will keep this under review and will revisit this decision at its meeting in March, if not before.

If there are any changes to this situation we will publicise them here

Holy Trinity Church is still here and still very much concerned with the welfare of all, whether members or not.  If you are concerned for yourself or for someone else and would find it helpful to speak to someone for support, prayer or spiritual guidance please do get in touch either by email to, or phone 020 8462 1280.

The Church of England has a section on its website which gives information and advice relevant to Church life.  This is regularly updated and can be found here:

When we are able to do so safely we will recommence meeting in Church for our 10am Sunday services.  Those who do attend are required to observe the requirements for 'social distancing' and wearing of face coverings (unless exempt).

At the same time, the service is streamed online via Zoom which enables those who cannot join us in church to do so virtually.  If you would like access to the Zoom link please ask.

These services are recorded and subsequently posted on our YouTube channel with links posted on our Facebook page.

If you would like to know more about this please do get in touch, email:
